Beet haters beware – this one’s sure to convert you! Calcium-rich beets meet protein-loaded quinoa to create the ultimate veggie burger. Packed full of flavor & sure to leave you satisfied.
Serves: 2 patties (100 g dry) or 4 patties (200 g dry)
Ingredients: Beets, Quinoa, Sunflower seeds, onion, Gluten-free bread crumbs, olive oil, chickpea flour, garlic, soya sauce, balsamic vinegar, fresh rosemary, fresh parsley, spices, ground flax seed, salt, pepper.
Need: Pan, water, heat source. Touch of oil for cooking (unless non-stick pan or cast iron). Optional (recommended) - buns, condiments, greens, etc.
Directions: For 2 patties bring 1/2 C water to a boil (Double for 4 patties). Once boiling pour into bag with beet burger mix, or add with mix to bowl (recommended for best results), and stir well. Let sit 5 minutes. heat up a skillet or pot, add oil, shape your patties, and cook at medium to medium-low heat until crisp on the outside and warm throughout (about 7-10 minutes), flipping about halfway through.
