If you prefer not to purchase gear yet, you can rent everything you need directly through Kayak Ontario. All rental gear meets Paddle Canada Level 2 standards and is the same equipment our instructors use on course. Your setup will be ready and waiting when you arrive — no need to source or ship your own.

• Kayak Rental – full-sized touring kayak with deck lines, bulkheads, and safety rigging
• Drysuit Rental – waterproof, breathable, and properly fitted for course conditions
• Navigation and Safety Kit – includes compass, map case, tow line, and protractor
• PFD and Paddle Package – high-quality performance gear for your comfort and safety

This is ideal for paddlers travelling from out of town, first-time participants, or anyone not yet ready to invest in their own expedition gear. Rentals make it easy to focus on learning and confidence without the upfront cost.

Pickup and Return
